Getting started

👋 Hi there! Welcome to Friday! We are an online AI content generation assistant and we will guide you around and help you familiarize yourself with all the basic features of Friday. It would be really helpful if you could provide feedback on our websites. If you need any help, please contact us via friday@heyfriday.ai!

The Basics

This is our homepage, where you can click "Login" to log in to Friday with your account and you can experience more of our features when you log in. You can click "Start Writing for Free" to start your brand new writing journey.

🧭 The dashboard

After you log in, you'll see a dashboard. Inside the dashboard, you can:

  • Check out feature updates: Learn about our recently launched content and new features within the app.
  • Access your recently used templates, documents, and results: you can quickly locate them.
  • See how many words you've generated in the past 7 days.
  • Join our communities on social media and earn free credits by leaving an honest review.

📎Templates

We have a total of 40+ templates. These templates are well-trained to perform in many specific cases and are easy for you to understand and use. We'll talk about how to use them in the next section. You can access all the templates by clicking "Template" on the left sidebar, or by clicking "Template Modules" on the top left side of the panel while inside the workspace.

✏️Writing Page

Documents can be used to write longer content, such as blog posts, emails, social posts, or book outlines. You'll learn more about how to use documents in another tutorial. In the writing space, you'll see that you can:

  • Choose your favorite template
  • Access to Magic Command
  • Generate AI outputs

There are many ways you can earn credits, and the more credits you earn, the more things you can redeem. You can monitor your credits and usage in the Usage and Billing tabs of the website. Here's how you can earn points:
